Parksville Probus Club

Are you looking to meet new people?

Parksville Probus Club might be for you. We are one of many Probus social clubs, created internationally, to serve the retired and semi retired community. Singles and couples are welcome.

Why should I join?

We organize excursions to places of interest, theatres and concerts, as well as local restaurants and pubs. We also get together for things such as a bbq, picnic, potluck or Christmas dinner.

In addition to the outings. we have our Speaker's series meetings where popular guest speakers present topics such as "How your Memory Works and Why Forgetting is Totally OK" ", "The World after the Spanish Flu vs the World after COVID" and "Building and maintaining a sustainable process for recycling on Vancouver Island".

Monthly meetings

These are normally held on the third Monday of each month, except July, August and December, at the Parksville Community Centre, (223 Mills St, behind Starbucks) starting at 9:15am and lasting approximately 2 hours. Coffee, tea and refreshments are provided and members have a chance to socialize before the presentation. The $5 entrance fee helps to cover costs.

You are encouraged to come as a guest and check us out.
